WipNestPrivacy Policy
Your data stays on your device
WipNest stores projects, plans, notes, archive and deleted-project recovery data on your device. You can use these core features without creating an account or connecting to Google Drive. You control file exports and imports. Importing a backup replaces the local WipNest project data after a review and confirmation.
Google Drive backup (optional, Pro)
If you choose to connect Google Drive with Pro, WipNest requests access only to its private Google Drive application data folder. A manual backup uploads a portable snapshot of your project data there. A manual restore downloads that snapshot and replaces local project data only after your confirmation. WipNest does not automatically sync projects.
You can disconnect the Google account in Backups; this stops app access but does not delete a previously saved Drive snapshot. You can remove WipNest app data through your Google account or Drive controls.
Purchases
If you buy Pro, Google Play handles payment. WipNest sends a purchase token and a Play Integrity token to the WipNest verification service, which checks ownership with Google Play. The service does not receive your projects, plans or notes. A previously verified purchase token is stored in app-private device preferences for temporary offline access. It is not included in project backup files or Drive snapshots. The verification service runs on Google Cloud. Like most web services, Google Cloud records basic request information, such as the time, IP address and result of each request, in service logs that are kept for up to 30 days and used only to operate and secure the service. WipNest never logs purchase or integrity tokens.
No ads or analytics
WipNest does not contain advertising or analytics SDKs. The verification host and Google services may process technical request information needed to operate their services. Google Play and Google Drive handle information under their own policies.
Deleting your data
You can delete local WipNest data through the app's deletion controls or by removing the app. Step-by-step instructions are on the Delete your data page. Recently Deleted items remain recoverable for up to 30 days unless permanently deleted sooner. File backups and Drive snapshots are separate copies that you control.
